Job Details
CoinGecko is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal support on a range of legal and regulatory matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support to the business.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
- Assist in identifying legal risks.
- Assist in managing intellectual property.
- Support corporate governance matters.
- Support dispute resolution efforts.
- Assist in preparing regulatory filings.
- Support the implementation of internal policies.
- Conduct legal research.
- Assist in creating legal documentation.
- Support legal vendor management.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor interns when required.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of post qualification experience (PQE) with a minimum of 2 years experience as a legal counsel.
- Bachelor’s of Laws degree from an accredited law school.
- Knowledge of technology and cryptocurrency industry.
- Foundational knowledge across key areas of legal functions.
- Understanding of commercial laws and laws governing digital/SaaS products.
- Self-motivated and resourceful.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Integrity and ability to handle sensitive data.
- Keen interest in the cryptocurrency industry.
