Full-Time Legal Counsel

ServiceNow is seeking a motivated and commercially-minded lawyer specializing in Corporate and Company Law in India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage legal and compliance matters for Indian entities.
• Ensure statutory compliance, corporate governance, and company secretarial matters.
• Provide business-oriented legal advice on compliance and corporate law issues.
• Coordinate and attend board/committee meetings.
• Support corporate matters (inter-company loans, dividends, etc.).
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Accounting, Tax, etc.).
• Assist with document execution.
• Assist other legal team members.
• Work with external counsel and providers.
• Be the face of Legal for stakeholders.
• Support all above for APJ and ANZ regions (as required).

Qualifications:

• Indian law degree
• 3+ years of relevant legal experience
• Strong knowledge of Indian Corporate and Company Law
• Some international and in-house experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of IP, software/technology licensing, and commercial contracts (preferred)
• Superb organizational skills
• Business-oriented, pro-active, and flexible approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills, sense of humor
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Strong analytical, issue-spotting, and investigatory skills
• Global mindset and cultural sensitivity
• Fluency in English
