Full-Time Legal Counsel

ServiceNow are seeking a motivated and commercially-minded lawyer specialising in Corporate and Company Law in India to support continued growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage legal and compliance matters for entities in India.
• Ensure statutory compliance, corporate governance, and company secretarial matters.
• Deliver business-oriented advice on compliance and corporate law issues.
• Coordinate and attend board/committee meetings.
• Support corporate matters relating to Indian entities (inter-company loans, dividends, etc.).
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Accounting, Tax, etc.).
• Assist with document execution in India.
• Assist other Legal team members on projects.
• Work with external counsel and service providers.
• Support stakeholders in India and build a positive culture.
• Support other regions (APJ and ANZ) as needed.

Qualifications:

• Indian law degree.
• 3+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Broad experience in Indian Corporate and Company Law.
• Some knowledge of IP, software/technology licensing, and commercial contracts (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Business-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong analytical, issue-spotting, and investigatory skills.
• Global mindset and cultural sensitivity.
• Fluency in English.
