Job Summary: We seek a Legal Counsel to support the Europe Generics business. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on marketing, and aiding the commercial team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and execute contracts (in-licensing, out-licensing, service, consultancy, distributor, MoUs, term sheets, confidentiality agreements).
- Advise on marketing and promotional activities, ensuring compliance with laws and company guidelines.
- Support the commercial team in achieving strategic goals.
- Collaborate with business units to assess commercial intent and guide its execution legally.
- Interact with stakeholders (Finance, Tax, SCM, Regulatory, global Legal & Compliance).
- Support product divisions and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct legal research and interpret laws to create legally sound solutions.
Educational Qualifications: LLB from a reputable institution, LLM in Commercial/Business Law preferred.
Minimum Work Experience: 5-8 years as in-house legal counsel or corporate legal practitioner, with prior contract drafting, negotiation, and legal support experience. International company experience is a plus.
