Job Details
Vericast is seeking a highly motivated Legal Counsel - Privacy to report directly to and work closely with the Chief Privacy Officer and Deputy General Counsel. In this role, you will help ensure compliance with legal and contractual privacy and data-protection requirements for diverse datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze privacy and data protection laws and regulations (GLBA, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Maintain privacy-related policies, standards, guidelines, and processes
- Analyze data procured for use in products and services
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding data governance and data usage
- Liaise with Vendor Security Risk Management team to ensure privacy compliance
- Assist with Company’s data governance efforts
- Primary responsibility for Company’s consumer privacy request process
