Trueline is seeking a Litigation Attorney specializing in Real Estate/Foreclosures based in Texas, with a preference for candidates in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with a passion for civil litigation and real estate to take on meaningful work with flexible remote options and a strong support network. You must me able to attend in person court appearances in Dallas.
Must-Haves:
- Juris Doctor and active license to practice law in Texas
- 2–4 years of litigation experience preferred
- Availability to attend hearings and proceedings in Texas
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
- Strong self-direction and time management; ability to meet an annual billing target of 1,920 hours
What You'll Do:
- Manage a diverse docket of litigation and pre-litigation matters tied to real estate, title, mortgages, foreclosure, and creditor's rights
- Draft pleadings, argue motions, and handle discovery and court appearances (remote and in-person)
- Work closely with clients to build strategy and deliver outstanding service
- Conduct research, analyze risks, and provide recommendations with a focus on results
- Support bankruptcy-related matters as needed
- Collaborate with a team that values efficiency, integrity, and innovative legal thinking
Nice-to-Haves:
- Admission to practice in additional states within the firm's footprint
- Familiarity with secured transactions and title resolution
