Operational Excellence Coach is responsible for leading major Lean and cultural transformations across customers in the Food & Beverage, CPG, and General Manufacturing industries through the implementation of QAD Redzone software and expert-level coaching.
Coaches work within autonomous teams, have practical CI experience, and believe in leading-through-doing.
They work directly with shop floor staff, frontline leaders, CI directors, and C-level executives to achieve personal growth and productivity gains.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees and coaches 5-7 customers concurrently.
- Trains customers on Redzone software workflows through on-site deployments.
- Facilitates shop-floor Huddles and leadership Daily Vital Signs meetings.
- Tracks performance data and customer uplifts.
- Leads process improvement and kaizen activities.
- Shares feedback with teams and leadership to drive positive change.
- Facilitates remote weekly progress meetings.
- Identifies and celebrates customer successes.
- Manages project schedules.
- Provides Success Assessments upon project completion.
- Delivers executive overviews and provides information on Redzone programs.
- Troubleshoots customer technical issues.
- Supports customer identification of next steps.
Required Skills:
- Senior Operations Leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in roles like Operations Manager, Production Supervisor, or Continuous Improvement Manager.
- Proven use of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Ability to plan, organize, and function effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong client and internal team relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Sound judgment and assessment skills.
- Effective time management.
- Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Tech-friendly and comfortable with software and networking.
- PLC experience (desired, but not required).
Education/Experience:
- BA/BS in relevant fields (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.)
- 2+ years of similar experience (desired, but not required)
Compensation:
Base pay range: $115,000-$130,000 USD annually.
