Full-Time Product Counsel

We are seeking an outstanding product attorney to join our dynamic legal team who will support ServiceNow’s rapidly growing product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Advising on a wide variety of product matters and legal risk mitigation strategies.
• Negotiating technology transactions agreements (inbound technology licenses, development agreements, pre-release agreements).
• Providing first-line support for all product-related issues (privacy, security, compliance, AI).

Qualifications:

• Current member in good standing of a U.S. state bar.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department of a software or large SaaS enterprise company advising clients in the full range of product development matters.
• 4+ years of product counseling/in-house experience.
• Significant experience drafting and negotiating technology transactions and handling complex IP-related legal issues.
• Ability to independently investigate and understand new issues, technologies, and functionality, and communicate the results across relevant teams.
• Familiarity with key issues impacting the enterprise technology industry.
• Team player with a solutions-oriented approach, building trust with stakeholders.
• High level of professionalism, business judgment, and an innovative approach to legal issues.
• Self-starter able to prioritize workload, set goals, and meet deadlines.
