Full-Time Quotations Specialist

Summary: The Quotations Specialist establishes relationships with customers and vendors to secure pricing positions for bids. They review bid packages, formulate project quotations, and provide product knowledge.

What You'll Do:

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects.
• Review bid packages and all requirements, including technical, commercial, and documentation.
• Work closely with Outside Sales to discuss strategy and approach for each proposal request.
• Format customer requests into a standardized spreadsheet for bid review.
• Break down bid packages and issue RFQs to vendors for project quotation levels.
• Receive pricing and put a bid tabulation together for review.
• Prepare and submit final proposals with all required documentation.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and offer substitute products where appropriate.
• Participate in product meetings and training to enhance product knowledge.
• Meet with the team to discuss vendor strategy and margin levels.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Increase business by utilizing company digital tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School or GED - Required
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Product and application knowledge being developed.
• Customer-oriented with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of computer skills (Excel/Outlook/Word, PDF editor).
• Ability to establish good relationships with stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivation.
• Desire and aptitude to learn quickly with a growth mindset.
