SUMMARY: The Organ Health Regional Marketing Manager, Northeast will develop and execute marketing tactics to increase awareness and adoption of Natera’s organ health products in transplantation and nephrology with providers in the assigned region. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing marketing team and to work on regional campaigns for market-leading products that impact healthcare for millions of patients. This role reports to the Associate Director, Organ Health Regional Marketing and will cover specific geographical areas tied to sales regions. The northeast position will include coverage in ME, NH, VT, NY, MA, CT, RI, PA, NJ, DE, MD, OH, KY, WV, TN, NC, SC, VA.Success in this role relies on alignment and direction from the organ health marketing leads of each product, as well as effective cross-functional interaction with the clinical sales team, SAM team, workflow implementation team, product development teams, and the medical affairs team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with other (regional and HQ-based) Marketing team members as well as Medical Affairs, Sales, SAM, and workflow implementation team members to develop and execute regional HCP (healthcare professional) programs, advisory boards, conferences, events, marketing campaigns and print and digital tools to communicate the value and increase adoption of Natera’s offerings in organ health.
- Consistently join sales team meetings and calls for the assigned regions, and make an effort to join sales field rides, dinners, and customer interactions regularly.
- Identify appropriate channels to deploy marketing messaging in the region.
- Partner with the local sales team to customize content from existing marketing campaigns, programs, and materials as appropriate for the region.
- Aid Medical Affairs in content development and speaker selection for regional HCP programs and congresses.
- Provide logistical support (e.g. venue booking, ordering of materials, sponsorship booking) for local speaker programs, regional conferences, and other regional HCP programs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with opinion leaders, external speakers, and medical associations in the region in partnership with Medical Affairs and the local Sales team.
- Effectively manage marketing projects and timelines.
- Track ROI for regional marketing programs and campaigns.
- Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights on customer needs / competitive landscape and to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing messaging in the region.
- Maintain knowledge of key product attributes and competitive differentiation to effectively position products in both traditional and digital channels
- Facilitate design and finalization of marketing collateral, including printed materials and digital materials through collaboration with the Natera corporate graphic designers and medical, product, and sales stakeholders
- Ensure timely maintenance and updates of materials for use by or training of the sales team
- Interact cross-functionally with copywriters, designers, sales team, product development team, and executive leadership to achieve alignment internally on key messages and claims
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 years prior sales and marketing experience in life sciences or clinical experience in genetic testing space strongly preferred
- Prefer 1-2 years of experience in the biopharma industry, diagnostic industry, medical communications, healthcare advertising or other relevant experience
- Prefer experience in digital marketing
- Prefer customer-facing experience in a healthcare or biotech setting (sales, etc.)

- Travel required for this position: 50%
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
