We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role is critical in identifying and qualifying potential opportunities, managing inbound and outbound sales efforts, and fostering strong relationships with developers and their consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Understanding which developers & specific developments it is appropriate for us to contact.
- Communication: Creating and maintaining effective and professional content to support outbound sales.
- Outbound Sales: Using different approaches including email, phone, events, and referrals to engage with the right people.
- Opportunity Identification: Actively identify and leverage any opportunities for sales, land, or strategic partnerships.
- Lead Generation: Ensuring that prospecting and outreach support the primary goal of generating qualified leads.
- Building and Nurturing Relationships: Develop and maintain strong commercial and advisory relationships.
Requirements:
- A passion for the environment and restoring nature
- Previous experience in outbound sales or SDR roles
- Experience working directly with developers and their consultancy teams would be beneficial
- Strong understanding of CRM systems (experience with Hubspot is a plus)
- Proven track record in identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Ability to review legislation, regulatory requirements, and guidance
- A good understanding of the English planning system and developments is desirable
