Role: Motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the Revenue team. You'll generate pipeline and accelerate business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Research accounts in higher education and student property markets to understand their roles, challenges, and goals.
- Craft personalized prospecting emails to engage ideal customers.
- Make outbound calls to build rapport.
- Utilize Salesforce, HubSpot, cold calling, social media, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email, and referrals to connect with leads.
- Set up meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives.
- Understand StarRez products, solutions, value propositions, and customer pain points.
- Overcome objections and stay informed on competitive offerings and market trends.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams.
- Meet or exceed monthly pipeline generation, bookings, and outreach goals.
- Report regularly to Sales leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve tools and refine workflows.
- Continuously update outreach approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Interest in sales or customer-facing roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with outbound calls and email/social engagement
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work remotely
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Coachable, eager to learn, and open to feedback
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in higher education or student housing
- 1+ year in B2B sales, cold calling, or lead generation
- Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRMs
- Exposure to StarRez software or similar platforms
- Understanding of the student lifecycle or PropTech industry
Compensation: $60,000 – $60,000 USD (with bonus potential).
