About StarRez: StarRez is a leader in student housing software. Our solutions serve 1,300 institutions in 25 countries.

Role: Motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the Revenue team. You'll generate pipeline and accelerate business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Research accounts in higher education and student property markets to understand their roles, challenges, and goals.
  • Craft personalized prospecting emails to engage ideal customers.
  • Make outbound calls to build rapport.
  • Utilize Salesforce, HubSpot, cold calling, social media, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email, and referrals to connect with leads.
  • Set up meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives.
  • Understand StarRez products, solutions, value propositions, and customer pain points.
  • Overcome objections and stay informed on competitive offerings and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams.
  • Meet or exceed monthly pipeline generation, bookings, and outreach goals.
  • Report regularly to Sales leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tools and refine workflows.
  • Continuously update outreach approach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Interest in sales or customer-facing roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with outbound calls and email/social engagement
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work remotely
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Coachable, eager to learn, and open to feedback
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in higher education or student housing
  • 1+ year in B2B sales, cold calling, or lead generation
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRMs
  • Exposure to StarRez software or similar platforms
  • Understanding of the student lifecycle or PropTech industry

Compensation: $60,000 – $60,000 USD (with bonus potential).
