About the Role: Heron is seeking an SDR to join our growing team. You'll be on the front lines, reaching out to potential customers, learning the ropes of fintech sales, and helping us grow our impact across the lending industry. The role is located in the Bay Area, but remote is possible for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential small RIA clients.
- Reach out to prospects via email, phone, and LinkedIn to introduce Heron.
- Qualify leads and set up meetings for the Business Development Manager.
- Learn how to use tools like our CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and more.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to improve outreach strategy.
- Gain hands-on experience in sales and learn about fintech.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant fintech or financial products sales experience.
- Series 7 License.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, high energy, and a desire to learn.
- Comfortable reaching out to new people and starting conversations.
- Organized and reliable with good time management.
- Interest in startups, technology, and/or financial services.
Nice to Haves:
- Internship or work experience in sales, customer service, or marketing.
- Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Interest in fintech, small business lending, or SaaS.
