As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Informa TechTarget, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by sourcing meetings leading to content marketing programs with some of the world's largest brands.
You will be the front line introducing our content strategy and development expertise to both existing clients and new prospects.
Focus: Generating opportunities and building a strong pipeline for Account Executives through phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Research, source, and secure leads to build a robust pipeline.
- Make outbound sales calls within an assigned territory to generate qualified leads and set sales appointments.
- Leverage email and social media tools for inbound prospect development, engaging target prospects and presenting high-level value propositions.
- Participate in weekly meetings for achievement recognition, insight exchange, and team collaboration.
- Manage and update prospecting status and activities via CRM (Salesforce.com).
- Develop a deep understanding of how content marketing programs unlock value for customers by seeking innovative approaches and best practices.
- Work closely with Account Executives to align on opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams for seamless execution of sales processes and strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in tech, content marketing, or lead generation.
- Strong lead generation, relationship building, and meeting setting skills through proactive outreach.
- Comfort with outbound sales calls and engaging prospects via email and LinkedIn.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce.com or similar) and sales prospecting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; presenting complex solutions clearly and compellingly.
- Ability to meet and exceed monthly pipeline goals with accountability and teamwork.
- Passion for learning content marketing and sales strategies.
- Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
