Full-Time Sales Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team. This is a remote position with up to 25% travel.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

• Serving as technical expert working alongside Account Executives throughout the entire sales cycle
• Creating and delivering custom presentations/demos that capture the problems, solutions, and overall progress throughout the proof-of-value efforts journey
• Facilitating interactive, informative, and tailored proof-of-value efforts
• Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the solution, encompassing both its technological aspects and its relevance to the overarching business challenges faced by Red Canary's prospective customers

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 3+ years customer facing/sales engineering experience
• Knowledge of security industry, including competitors, market needs and trends
• Strong technical knowledge of networking, identity, cloud, or endpoint security

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CSSP (Certified Secure Software Professional), Security+ or other relevant certifications to show foundational knowledge in cybersecurity
• Skilled with Windows and Linux command-line and are comfortable with configuring systems, troubleshooting, and interacting with scripts or have experience with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Ruby, etc.
• Practical knowledge of enterprise endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions including the ability to administer and configure EDRs, understand metadata and its value in delivering visibility to organizations and are driven to proactively hunt through large endpoint datasets in order to find activity of interest
