Sales Operations Specialist (SOS) is a valuable resource for Regional Partners and Account Executives.
The SOS supports sales and marketing efforts by:
- Requesting quotes from vendors/distributors.
- Generating quotes for customers.
- Managing Salesforce.com opportunities.
- Corresponding with customers to maintain and grow the region.
The SOS interacts with manufacturing partners, internal business partners, and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Using Salesforce.com to generate quotes, track opportunities, and process orders.
- Responding to internal and external inquiries.
- Suggesting creative pricing and payment solutions.
- Serving as a liaison between customers, vendors, and GuidePoint outside Sales Executives.
- Developing product and industry knowledge, vendor resources, and GuidePoint Security service offerings.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with GuidePoint key vendors and customers.
- Attending regional forecast calls and performing pipeline analysis for forecast accuracy.
- Leveraging resources and relationships to bring value to customers.
- Serving as a liaison between GuidePoint outside Account Executives, Accounting, and Contracts Departments for order processing and tracking.
- Working with the team to analyze information and make decisions that benefit GuidePoint Security.
- Managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Working closely with other GuidePoint teams to streamline processes and ensure customer deliverables.
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate Degree preferred.
- 3+ years in customer service/sales support.
- IT industry background preferred.
- CRM software experience (required).
- Salesforce.com experience (preferred).
- Microsoft Office and Internet Navigation (intermediate).
- Technical sales/support and outbound calling experience (preferred).
- Excellent prioritization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedule and any travel as needed.
- Solid math skills.
- Ability to receive feedback and improve results.
- Good judgment.
