GuidePoint Security provides trusted cybersecurity expertise, solutions and services.

Sales Operations Specialist (SOS) is a valuable resource for Regional Partners and Account Executives.

The SOS supports sales and marketing efforts by:

  • Requesting quotes from vendors/distributors.
  • Generating quotes for customers.
  • Managing Salesforce.com opportunities.
  • Corresponding with customers to maintain and grow the region.

The SOS interacts with manufacturing partners, internal business partners, and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Using Salesforce.com to generate quotes, track opportunities, and process orders.
  2. Responding to internal and external inquiries.
  3. Suggesting creative pricing and payment solutions.
  4. Serving as a liaison between customers, vendors, and GuidePoint outside Sales Executives.
  5. Developing product and industry knowledge, vendor resources, and GuidePoint Security service offerings.
  6. Developing and maintaining relationships with GuidePoint key vendors and customers.
  7. Attending regional forecast calls and performing pipeline analysis for forecast accuracy.
  8. Leveraging resources and relationships to bring value to customers.
  9. Serving as a liaison between GuidePoint outside Account Executives, Accounting, and Contracts Departments for order processing and tracking.
  10. Working with the team to analyze information and make decisions that benefit GuidePoint Security.
  11. Managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  12. Working closely with other GuidePoint teams to streamline processes and ensure customer deliverables.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years in customer service/sales support.
  • IT industry background preferred.
  • CRM software experience (required).
  • Salesforce.com experience (preferred).
  • Microsoft Office and Internet Navigation (intermediate).
  • Technical sales/support and outbound calling experience (preferred).
  • Excellent prioritization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and any travel as needed.
  • Solid math skills.
  • Ability to receive feedback and improve results.
  • Good judgment.
