Full-Time SAP Functional BASIS Business Analyst

SCOPE:Analyzes and defines complex SAP business systems functions, business processes, and user needs; performs complex functional configuration, testing, and maintenance tasks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzes and evaluates complex business functions and processes related to assigned areas (e.g., Accounting, Planning, Material Management, etc.).
• Interfaces with users to define operational needs, procedures, problems, and access levels.
• Defines and documents SAP business system processes and transactions.
• Performs complex functional configuration tasks to develop solutions and implement changes/enhancements.
• Performs complex unit and integration testing; troubleshoots configuration/master data problems.
• Interfaces with users to clarify functional configuration details and process changes.
• Acts as a liaison between users and programming staff for optimal system integration and performance.
• Guides user testers in high-quality testing.
• Tracks and documents changes in functional and business specifications; writes user-friendly procedures.
• Identifies opportunities to improve business processes.
• Analyzes feasibility and develops requirements for new systems/enhancements.
• Provides technical assistance in training and mentoring.
• Trains users and supports training on SAP functionality.
• Maintains effective working relationships with process owners, technical teams, and users.
• Performs related duties.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc.)
• 10+ years of professional experience in SAP functional configuration.

Salary Range: $133,000 - $157,000 annually
