As a Senior Account Executive at Gen, you’ll drive revenue growth by building relationships with financial clients, focusing on both new business and upselling opportunities. Reporting to the EVP of Media & Strategy, you’ll lead high-impact client engagements, educate partners on performance-driven solutions, and exceed quarterly sales targets.
Build and manage a book of financial and related client revenue, consisting of both existing accounts and prospective clients to close and onboard. Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets through consistent new sales and upselling activities.
Conduct regular client-facing interactions including calls, office visits, lunches, networking, and educational meetings with top ad agencies and brands.
Educate prospective clients on direct response, customer acquisition, content, and sponsorship opportunities.
Ensure client satisfaction by deeply understanding KPIs, driving goal achievement, and maintaining compliance.
Drive forward planning, encourage data sharing, and identify new opportunities to support CTI performance.
Maintain accurate records of all accounts, opportunities, and prospects in Salesforce per team standards.
Work closely with Sales Operations to delegate tasks, allowing you to focus on growth and strategic goals.
Negotiate increases in client budgets by proposing new initiatives, products, and optimizations.
Collaborate with Sales Ops and Product teams to develop new strategies, leveraging creative and landing page testing.
Stay ahead of digital trends and lead internal and client education efforts on digital strategy, mobile, and technology.
Facilitate onboarding of new clients.
Stay informed on product updates, industry pricing, and competitive trends across display, mobile, and digital sales.
Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and conferences as needed.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance reports, providing clients with actionable insights and recommendations.
Coordinate with technical, legal, tracking, trafficking, compliance, and creative teams to ensure smooth execution.
