With uncapped earning potential, the Senior Account Executive will be part of our dynamic sales organization, responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities. You will be identifying and sourcing your own pipeline, calling on enterprise organizations and taking them through an enterprise sales process. Through primarily outbound prospecting initiatives, you will be responsible for: qualifying leads, identifying decision-makers, determining customer needs, presenting and demonstrating our solutions, overcoming objections, and closing sales, making you the owner of the full sales cycle. You will collaborate with Business Development Managers, Solution Engineers, and other colleagues, execute each phase of the complex sales cycle to the highest professional standards and help evolve our Go-To-Market strategy.
As a new Senior AE, you'll receive training and development with tremendous opportunities for advancement for top performers. You will report to the VP, Data & Analytics Sales
What will you do?
- Develop and execute sales plans and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities
- Develop and manage sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas
- Use a consultative approach to diagnose our customer's needs
- Remain highly knowledgeable of company products and target industries to facilitate sales efforts
- Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and support staff
- WIN – close deals and acquire new customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years enterprise software sales experience required
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles
- Track record of over-achieving quota year-over-year
- Ability to work from home (if outside Raleigh, NC)
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment; high level of motivation and a rapid learner
- A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals, and achieving results
- Excellent communicator
- Must have energy, drive, commitment, and passion
