Senior Account Executive reports to the VP of Client Services and is responsible for overseeing and managing assigned clients.
The role includes developing strong relationships with clients and connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
The Senior Account Executive manages the overall client relationship and coordinates/leads strategic and tactical planning sessions with client leadership.
This position requires an experienced Account Executive as the primary strategic contact for all assigned clients, managing cross-functional internal relationships to support clients and achieve team/corporate goals.
- Responsibilities:
- Facilitate, plan, and organize telephone and in-person client meetings
- Develop strong client relationships, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders
- Update and distribute operational metrics/benchmarks to measure client health (adoption, usage, satisfaction, retention, etc.)
- Assist with challenging client requests/issue escalations, involving appropriate client and internal teams
- Complete client onboarding, training, renewals, and retention processes
- Drive new business growth via expansion and up-sell initiatives with assigned clients
- Attain assigned goals for sales qualifications and client retention
- Work alongside Product and Operations teams to improve service/product offerings
- Essential Functions:
- Manage/develop trusted advisor relationships with clients and colleagues
- Partner with clients to understand business goals/strategies, providing strategic direction/creative strategies to achieve objectives
- Support and follow established vision, discipline, guidelines, and best practices for account management
- Monitor client relationship progress across all assigned clients and provide updates to Client Services leadership to address issues/problems
- Conduct regularly occurring meetings (bi-weekly client partner meetings, annual onsite partner meetings)
- Other duties/special projects as assigned

- Adept at navigating client feedback and maintaining positive relationships
- Strong business acumen
- Strong communication/presentation skills (all decision-making levels)
- Manage day-to-day client relationships/various internal stakeholders
- Multitasking, prioritizing, problem-solving, and independent work
- Good judgment/independent discretion regarding client initiatives/company-related efforts
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Team player, flexible, and fast thinker, especially during critical/stressful times
- Financial services experience preferred
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Five years experience directly managing client relationships, in lieu of degree
