Oncology Sales is a dedicated organization focused on the commercialization of Guardant 360® and Reveal® portfolio. Focus is on early to advanced-stage cancer tests, driving speed and urgency to serve patients.
About the Role: The Pathology Account Executive drives growth in diagnostic pathology and precision oncology accounts through partnerships with healthcare providers. This role focuses on increasing tissue testing volume via strategic sales, education, and account development across hospitals, oncology centers, and physician networks.
- Tissue Volume Growth: Drive 360 tissue volume in assigned/overlapping regions.
- Sales & Business Development: Execute Laboratory Service Agreements, address ordering barriers. Negotiate pricing agreements, escalate pricing exceptions.
- Client Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with Pathologists, Oncologists, hospital administrators, and department staff.
- Education & Training: Deliver in-field training on pathology workflows, diagnostic tests, and technology solutions. Train staff on EMR integrations.
- Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with Oncology Sales Team, Medical Affairs, IT, Customer Service, and Key Accounts.
Requirements:
- 7+ years experience in account management in pathology sales, diagnostics, or oncology.
- Deep knowledge of FFPE Tissue-based NGS/CGP testing and pathology workflows.
- Deep knowledge of molecular diagnostics or oncology.
- Strong customer-first mindset, ability to influence clinical decision-makers.
- Proven track record in a consultative sales environment.
- Familiarity with pathology billing, reimbursement, and lab contracting (preferred).
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel >50%.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pathology, business, or related field is required. Advanced degree is a plus.
Salary: $158,400 - $237,600 (USD).
