Senior Accountant - Fixed Assets & Inventory
Established in 2012, Pinnacle Drinks exclusively partners winemakers, growers, brewers and distillers to deliver some of the world’s leading brands across the wine, beer and spirit categories. The Senior Accountant - Fixed Assets & Inventory manages the delivery of the full spectrum of monthly, quarterly and annual fixed asset and inventory accounting services encompassing all aspects of the fixed asset lifecycle including acquisition, maintenance, depreciation and disposal of assets together with inventory management including stocktake processes. The role works closely with the Pinnacle Wine and Endeavour Group Finance teams to ensure the provision of timely and effective fixed asset and inventory accounting services that comply with legislation, policy and accounting standards.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards for asset recording and management.
- Manage monthly depreciation, inventory allocation, and support month-end close.
- Liaise with Property and Tax teams to maintain accurate ledger entries.
- Manage asset physical counts and inventory stocktakes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee asset disposal and transfer processes.
- Support capital project evaluation and documentation.
- Assist with internal and external audits, addressing control issues.
- Review and manage aged inventory and fixed asset balances.
- Ensure accuracy of BPC fixed asset balances and provide statutory disclosure information.
- Deliver timely and accurate fixed asset and inventory reports.
- Prepare monthly reports on Capital WIP and capital expenditures.
- Provide movement and variance analysis to support the finance team.
Now let’s talk about you:
- Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience
- Degree qualification and CA/CPA
Good systems skills - D365, ERP, BI & Advanced Excel capability
Strategic and commercial thinker
Strong business partnering skills
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders including senior leadership members
Ability to remain focused under pressure and prioritise accordingly
Strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills
Proactively contribute and drive towards a culture of continuous improvement
Retail or drinks industry experience desirable
