As a member of the America’s Payroll team, responsible for processing 5 payrolls in the Americas, servicing over 2,100 employees in the US, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico.
This role will support accurate, timely, and compliant payrolls for the listed countries. Responsibilities include reconciliations of tax liabilities and withholding taxes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Owns the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Collects, maintains, and consolidates payroll data.
- Ensures the completeness and accuracy of all payroll records (new hires, terminations, compensation changes, stock income, benefits, bonuses).
- Manages data integrity across multiple systems.
- Supports benefits and retirement processing.
- Assists international employees on tax matters with third-party providers and global mobility.
- Identifies operational and regulatory risks, and mitigates them.
- Provides high-value customer service to employees.
- Communicates with external vendors for payroll data delivery.
- Prepares and verifies documentation, declarations, and reports.
- Addresses and resolves internal client inquiries related to payroll matters.
- Collaborates daily with HR and Finance Departments.
- Addresses issues with outsourced payroll services.
- Adheres to deadlines and work regulations, labor law, internal audit process, and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years' relevant payroll experience processing payrolls in the Americas.
- Expert knowledge of US payroll, federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting.
- Experience developing and enhancing internal processes and controls.
- Familiarity with complex HRIS system workflows and integrations (Workday HCM, Workday Payroll, Ceridian Dayforce, ADP Celergo, ADP Global View, and Time & Attendance).
