- Remote Position
- Reporting to GB’s Senior Counsel – Contracts
How you'll make an impact
- Participate in improving GB’s contracting function.
- Manage transactional issues by reviewing, drafting, negotiating agreements.
- Offer strategic guidance on contractual and business risks.
- Act as a business and legal collaborator through expertise and relationship-building.
- Ensure agreements align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Work with management and Gallagher legal on commercial and legal issues.
- Offer guidance on legal issues like IP and regulatory matters.
About You
- Required: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state.
- 5+ years of legal practice experience.
- Skillful in legal research, analysis, and drafting.
- Strong computer skills.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working for an insurance company.
- Experience in a relevant in-house position.
