About Your RoleAs a key member of the IT FX/MFG4.0 Solution Portfolio team, you'll apply strong business systems analysis expertise in manufacturing. You need working knowledge of a manufacturing environment, including Manufactory Execution System, Production Scheduling, and IoT digital solutions.
Your knowledge should extend to supply chain and costing domains such as Order Management, Inventory, Warehouse, Shipping, Transportation, Work in Process, Bills of Materials, and Purchasing. Standard costing is a plus.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing leadership and support for Apparel MES/APS global solution design, implementation, and rollout.
- Utilizing business analysis, data mapping, and validation to assist development.
- Managing testing execution and identifying/documenting defects.
- Preparing test and training plans, developing training materials, and delivering formal training.
- Developing training materials and best practices for Manufactory and constraint planning.
- Delivering training to users who are changing processes.
- Monitoring project dates and supporting team members.
- Escalating issues to management.
- Translating business objectives into requirements and specifications.
- Supporting document creation and automation.
- Communicating effectively with clients and leading workshops.
- Developing presentations (Google Docs, Presentations, and Sheets).
- Partnering with IT/vendor resources to review specifications.
- Providing subject matter expertise to define business processes and solutions.
- Documenting business processes, workflows, and requirements.
- Analyzing data extracts and completing data mapping.
- Supporting system coding and configuration changes.
- Managing defect resolution.
- Managing project portfolios, ensuring deliverables are met.
- Leading change by involving key stakeholders.
- Participating in and performing full regression testing for system changes (patches and upgrades).
- Testing and preparing new functionality.
- Ensuring patches and upgrades are applied prior to production.
- Providing support to end users for Supply Chain/Manufacturing modules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree.
- 8+ years' experience in manufacturing/IT projects (SCM, Manufactory, MES).
- Strong knowledge of Digital Transformation Initiatives and System Architecture design (ERP/MES/APS/IoT).
- Familiarity with global digital solution standardization and plant rollout models.
- Strong English communication and listening skills; Chinese if located in China.
- Logical thinking, organization, structured work habits.
- Ability to identify needs and provide solutions.
- Analyst skills to understand/evaluate business processes/requirements/change.
- Sensitivity, persuasiveness to help users understand needs.
- Assertive leadership skills to gain cooperation.
- Training skills, preparing materials for hands-on learning.
