Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Development and Client Strategy Manager to spearhead growth initiatives and deepen relationships in select sectors (data center, pharma, or energy) in North America. This role combines strategic planning, client engagement, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in data center, pharma, or energy sectors. Develop and execute strategic plans with Key Account Managers to penetrate target markets and expand the company's footprint. Lead proposal, presentation, and client pitch creation tailored to specific needs and opportunities.
- Client Strategy and Relationship Management: Serve as primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and alignment with client goals. Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and industry stakeholders. Develop client account strategies for maximum retention, satisfaction, and growth.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Provide insights and recommendations to internal teams on market dynamics and client needs.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with internal teams (consulting, engineering, project management, operations) to align business development efforts with company capabilities. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in business development, client strategy, or sales (preferably in the data center or related sectors)
- Strong knowledge of the data center market, including key players, trends, and technologies
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies
- Demonstrated success in building and managing long-term client relationships
- Ability to travel as needed

Salary: $169,000 - $221,000 (Arlington, VA area). Actual pay may vary.
