Role Description

The Global Business Development team is a dynamic, innovative, and strategic team focused on fueling growth with Autodesk's largest enterprise customers and scaling growth with customer ecosystems.

The Senior Business Development Executive is a strategic role directly interfacing with large Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) customers and their ecosystem supply chains, including public and private asset owners, governments, industry associations, and downstream supply chains.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and manage ecosystem strategic programs to influence customers and supply chains.
  • Influence customer business initiatives and decision-makers through thought leadership.
  • Develop essential relationships with executive-level/senior-level AEC customers.
  • Translate customer initiatives, challenges, and opportunities into business value for Autodesk.
  • Act as the "Thought Leader" for the transportation industry.
  • Drive strategic imperatives to maximize the impact of Autodesk customers on the entire industry ecosystem.
  • Assist Autodesk teams in achieving growth and revenue targets.
  • Work closely with Industry Strategy and Product teams.
  • Influence decision-makers in the transportation ecosystem.
  • Drive adoption and growth of Autodesk solutions within the ecosystem.
  • Represent Autodesk in relevant industry associations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in the AECO industry with sales or business development experience.
  • Specific civil/transportation experience desired.
  • Government and public sector experience a plus.
  • Strong project and engagement management skills.
  • Previous experience working with industry associations, holding positions of influence preferred.
  • Credible and experienced with business & technology trends in Transportation.
  • Experienced with and able to present digital transformation and platform use cases.
  • Proven track record of results as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of business concepts for sound decisions and business change.
