Senior Business Development Manager (Healthcare & Life Sciences)

Responsibilities:

• Serve as trusted advisor selling IT Professional Services to potential clients.
• Identify potential target clients through lead generation strategies, cold calling, networking, and research.
• Execute the entire client sales cycle, from acquisition to closing and driving revenue.
• Develop and maintain a qualified lead pipeline.
• Negotiate and close strategic new business deals.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets, consistently meeting revenue goals.
• Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technology challenges within healthcare.
• Exceed personal financial goals through growing book of business and uncapped commissions.
• Participate in industry events, workshops, and conferences.

Requirements:

• 8-10+ years of new business development experience focused on selling offshore/nearshore IT Professional Services.
• Experience within the Healthcare industry (Biotech, Pharma, Life Sciences, or Med Devices) with strong understanding of industry trends and challenges.
• Strong network of contacts in healthcare industry.
• Experience leading strategic new business development initiatives.
• Hunter-centric sales experience including prospecting, cold calling, qualifying leads, presentations, negotiations, contract closing, and relationship building.
• Ability to identify industry pain points and persuade VP or C-level decision-makers.
• Proven track record of success in new business development, achieving £5M+ quota per year.
• Experience preparing and presenting proposals, business cases, and statements of work.
• Valid passport, driver's license, and ability to travel locally, nationally, and internationally.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally for tradeshows or events.
