Job Summary: Senior Commercial Counsel, Retail and Supply Chain, supporting Retail and Supply Chain teams in all aspects of commercial transactions. Duties include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts (MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Advise cross-functional teams on commercial transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Counsel on risk and mitigation strategies.
- Partner with Finance, Privacy, Security, and Product.
- Contribute to standard forms, training, and legal processes.
- Support the Company in solving complex legal issues.
Requirements:
- J.D. and active state bar membership.
- 8+ years of experience at a large law firm or in-house.
- Advanced understanding of commercial concepts and negotiation skills.
- Experience in technology, healthcare, or related spaces.
- Collaborative team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous in-house experience at a growing tech company.
- International practice experience in healthcare or wearable devices.
- California State Bar membership.
- Familiarity with contract management tools (Ironclad, DocuSign).
