Summary: Provides high-quality legal advice and support to Procurement and Engineering organizations, negotiating commercial agreements and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing commercial contracts (professional services agreements, purchase agreements, etc.). Identifying transaction risks and proposing mitigation strategies. Working with contract managers and administrators. Supporting contract management process improvements (playbooks, templates). Working on special projects.
Requirements: 5-8 years of transactional experience in law firms or in-house legal departments, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial/technology agreements. Experience in technology companies is preferred, including IP/patent licensing and tech transactions. Engineering/technical degree required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and global stakeholders. High-quality, timely results. Self-starter.
Additional Details: Experience with contract lifecycle management and e-signature tools. This position is based in Irvine, CA or San Jose, CA.
