Toast is building the restaurant platform to help restaurants adapt, take control, and do what they do best. As a Senior Customer Success Manager (Toast's account manager role), you'll be the customer's main point of contact, trusted advisor, and drive initiatives for product adoption, satisfaction, referrals, and retention. You'll build relationships, understand customer goals, translate them into strategic recommendations, and excel in ambiguous environments.
Mid-market (MM) segment: highly cross-functional role responsible for a regionally based book of business (41-499 locations). You'll support customer happiness and growth of annual recurring revenue (ARR).
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with customers, including Toast executives.
- Maintain Salesforce database entries.
- Retain SaaS revenue through consultative engagement and product recommendations.
- Drive activation and adoption of Toast products by analyzing product usage.
- Leverage product knowledge for customer demos.
- Partner with internal teams for escalation, feedback, and referrals.
- Build cross-functional partnerships to engage customers.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of account management experience.
- Mid-Market or Enterprise customer management experience.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Success operating independently.
- General technical proficiency with software.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
- Excellent communication, organization, and influencing skills.
Compensation: $96,000 USD
