Senior Director of Laboratory Sales & Partnerships will oversee external laboratory partnerships, drive sales growth, and expand business in the pathology industry.
Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead and develop a team focused on securing new laboratory partnerships and growing existing relationships.
- Define and execute strategic direction for laboratory sales and partnerships.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop growth strategies and identify new opportunities.
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities (new sales channels, partnerships, alliances).
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare organizations (hospitals, diagnostic labs, etc.).
Partnership Management:
- Negotiate and close complex partnership agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (legal, operations, product development) for successful implementation.
- Act as the primary contact for high-value partners, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Market Insight & Competitive Analysis:
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.
- Leverage market insights for business strategy and revenue opportunities.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis.
Revenue Growth & Reporting:
- Drive sales and revenue growth.
- Develop and track sales forecasts, targets, and KPIs.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
Team Development & Collaboration:
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, and operations.
- Provide ongoing training and support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years experience in sales, business development, or partnership management; 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Proven track record of securing and managing high-value partnerships.
- Deep knowledge of the pathology and laboratory services industry.
- Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop strategic sales plans and achieve revenue growth.
- Willingness to travel (up to 75%).
Salary: $216,000 - $325,000 (USD)
