Reports To: VP of Industry and Solution Sales

Hitachi is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Sales to lead our North America Azure Solutions sales organization. This leader will oversee a team of pre-sales technical sellers and solution sellers specializing in Microsoft Azure, directly aligned with Microsoft’s customer base in North America.

Ideal Candidate: Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, experience driving growth in diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Azure Solutions across North America.
2. Lead a high-performing sales team of pre-sales technical sellers and solution specialists.
3. Strengthen relationships with Microsoft field teams and partner ecosystem to enhance alignment and business growth.
4. Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities within Microsoft’s North America customer base.
5. Recruit, mentor, and retain top sales talent.
6. Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and results-driven team culture.
7. Maintain a deep understanding of the Microsoft Azure solution area (Data and Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, Modern Solutions).
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with North American customers, acting as a trusted advisor in their digital transformation journeys.
9. Leverage insights into diverse industries to drive solutions.
