The Sr. Embolic Sales Specialist promotes, educates, and sells embolic products to healthcare professionals. This role builds relationships, understands customer needs, and provides solutions for optimizing patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and engage potential customers (interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, etc.).
- Visit hospitals and clinics to increase product visibility.
- Drive product adoption through communication and demonstrations.
- Understand market specifics of assigned territory.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of LAVA and its clinical applications.
- Educate healthcare professionals via training sessions and workshops.
- Stay current with competitive products and industry trends.
- Manage and prioritize customer accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, medical affairs).
- Adhere to regulatory and company policies.
- Maintain accurate sales records in Salesforce.
- Provide timely sales reports and market feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related field.
- 5+ years direct embolic experience and 10+ years medical device sales experience launching new products and selling modality change.
- Ability to effectively interact with healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Reside in and be able to travel within assigned territory.
- Travel 60-75% (includes weekends/holidays).
- Valid driver's license.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $125,000 - $145,000 annually.
- Variable bonus: Up to $160,000 (dependent on level).
