Job Details

Senior Account Executive reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop winning sales strategies, identifying and mobilizing solutions and resources to secure sales opportunities.
  • Lead and coordinate sales opportunities with a collaborative approach.
  • Generate comprehensive RFI/RFP responses with pre-sales, solution architects, and the delivery team.
  • Lead executive presentations and assist solution specialists in preparing demos.
  • Prospect for new clients and contribute to opportunity generation.
  • Establish long-term relationships with Microsoft's sales team and plan territory development programs.
  • Participate in industry associations, forums, and conferences to represent Talan.
  • Present Talan's offer and value proposition, and develop the Talan brand.
  • Maintain and manage sales processes, including pipeline, accounts, contacts, call plans, reports, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in coordination with project delivery managers.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives and cross-selling activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant external sales experience, 10 years in selling ERP software (SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.).
  • Ability to conduct business discussions with C-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of business objectives in finance, supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and construction.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven leadership skills, identifying, leading, and implementing process efficiencies and value-added solutions.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with business partners (Microsoft, etc.).
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to achieve results in a demanding environment.
  • Strong drive to succeed, experience selling complex technical solutions.
  • Ability to manage territory performance and sales pipeline.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft productivity suite.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Business degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
