Who we are: Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud. We help improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of physical operations. We are seeking a talented and experienced Field Sales Engineer to help modernize essential industries.
About the role: As a Field Sales Engineer, you will work with customers to implement IoT solutions. This includes hardware installation, data management, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations. You will also be responsible for translating technical feedback, enrolling customers in beta programs, and championing Samsara’s cultural principles.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, customer success, or customer support; strong communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts; and experience managing hardware/software evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in relevant fields (e.g., engineering); 8+ years of enterprise experience; understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems (e.g., CAN bus); ability to identify customer value; experience with task automation scripting (e.g., Bash, Python); and bilingual fluency in English and French-Canadian.
Remote Position: This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Canada, near a major airport. Regional travel is required (50% of the time). Relocation assistance is not provided.
Compensation: $246,092 - $289,520 CAD (annual)
