Full-Time Senior Manager Accounts Receivable

Lead and direct the activities of the accounts receivable team.

Ensure timely client billings and regular customer collections follow-up.

Proven background in billing and collections, knowledge of month-end close procedures, controls, analytics, foreign currency, and effective people/process management.

Global leadership role within a fast-growing business, requiring a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee all aspects of Accounts Receivable (billings, cash application, reconciliation, collections, cash flow optimization).
• Oversee Billing function (contractual deadlines, invoice review, revenue recognition).
• Effective communication with staff and various departments.
• Oversee collections team, ensuring aged receivables reporting.
• Ensure timely billings to customers.
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable accounts (A/R, unbilled, bad debt).
• Identify and resolve general ledger/project balance variances.
• Lead monthly meetings with sales RVPs.
• Review and update bad debt provision quarterly, and audit memo annually.
• Review Accounts Receivable flux analysis for P&L and BS.
• Lead process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with audit requests and special projects.
• Communicate and work with key stakeholders (FP&A).
• Be key contact for internal/external auditors.
• Develop and maintain team performance (recruiting, coaching, performance management).
• Generate revenue and AR reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc management tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 5+ years' experience in full-cycle accounts receivable (billings, collections).
• 5+ years' experience managing staff.
• 5+ years' experience with multiple entities, foreign exchange rates, and sales/VAT/GST schemes.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Tech-savvy with NetSuite experience.
• Solution-oriented leadership skills.
• Experience working in a complex US corporate structure (preferred).
