Dudek is seeking a skilled Payroll and Compliance Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll and compliance.
Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and consistent adherence to federal, state, and local payroll tax laws. Staying current with changing payroll laws and implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance is crucial.
The role involves multi-state payroll, employer taxes, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), 401(k), and health and welfare benefit plans.
This role will aid the company in supporting a remote and geographically dispersed employee base.
The successful candidate should be able to build, iterate, and automate processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities also include leading, coaching, and developing employees in the payroll and compliance function, ensuring cross-training and backup support.
Skills Required include strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills; and strong organizational and project management skills.
Minimum Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience, 7-10+ years' experience in processing and overseeing payroll, 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role, and certification (Certified Payroll Professional - CPP or Fundamental Payroll Certification - FPC) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications include experience in the Architecture-Engineering-Construction (AEC) industry, experience with Deltek VantagePoint or similar timekeeping, accounting & payroll software, and experience working in a remote environment.
Compensation: $110,000 - $155,000
