NielsenIQ is seeking a Senior Sales Consultant (m/w/d) for our Consumer Panel team in Frankfurt, Germany. The role will focus on managing customer relationships, leading the introduction and implementation of NIQ consumer solutions, boosting client engagement, and profitably increasing revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sales for assigned clients across all Consumer Panel tools & services (e.g., Consumer Tracking, Panel Surveys, CPS Modelling Solutions)
- Expand existing client contracts and acquire new business
- Provide consultative sales by understanding client needs and offering relevant solutions
- Gain deep understanding of clients (market, organization, key personnel, strategies, and contracts) to align Nielsen solutions with their needs
- Identify sales opportunities and engage relevant decision-makers and influencers
- Create compelling proposals and conduct successful sales negotiations
- Understand the NIQ sales process, build a strong sales pipeline, and utilize Microsoft Dynamics
- Collaborate closely with team colleagues, analytics teams, and client response teams to align account strategies
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations for key clients
- Develop and maintain internal and external networks with clients
- Manage budget
- Travel required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in market research (FMCG industry) or a related role in marketing, sales, or consulting
- Experience with consumer panel research and solutions is preferred
- Strong client focus, communication, and presentation skills
- University degree
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent German and English
- Solid understanding of clients, industry trends, and news
- High level of self-management and ability to collaborate virtually
- Customer-centric approach, strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in consultative sales and influencing skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented skills
