Job Details

QAD is seeking a Senior Sales Executive passionate about understanding customers' needs better than they understand themselves. The role involves teaching, tailoring solutions, and controlling the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting, identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities within existing QAD customer base.
  • Developing and managing a sales pipeline to meet or exceed targets.
  • Leading the sales process from qualification to closure.
  • Maintaining focus on target and named account acquisition.
  • Ensuring accurate sales forecasts, activities, and next steps.
  • Understanding the business landscape and creating differentiators for recommendations.
  • Presenting effectively to external customers at all levels (marketing staff to C-suite).
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced, intense sales environment.
  • Organizing internal and external teams to drive deals through complex sales cycles.
  • Leveraging relationships and challenging the status quo to develop and close opportunities.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 4-5 years of on-quota, B2B SaaS sales experience.
  • Experience with process intelligence verticals is ideal.
  • Solid experience closing complex multi-step sales processes.
  • Deep understanding of marketing and customer acquisition processes.
  • Experience selling to Automotive, Consumer Products, Food & Beverage, High Tech, Industrial, and Life Sciences sectors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive proposals, emails, and presentations.
  • Fluent English and German.
