Full-Time Senior Scientific Advisor Packaging Testing

Eurofins Medical Device Services is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Senior Scientific Advisor, Packaging & Distribution Testing to lead the expansion of our North American Medical Device Packaging Testing Division.

This is a hunter role, focused on driving new business acquisition. As a senior technical expert and commercial strategist, you will partner with field sales to identify prospects, uncover testing needs, deliver solutions, and win business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prospect, engage, and close new client relationships to drive revenue growth.
2. Serve as a subject matter expert in packaging testing for medical device, biopharmaceutical, and consumer product industries (experience in sterilization modalities is a plus).
3. Collaborate with sales managers to position Eurofins’ packaging services as a best-in-class solution.
4. Develop technical scopes of work and respond to RFQs/RFPs with compelling, scientifically robust proposals.
5. Provide strategic insights to business development leadership.
6. Represent Eurofins at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
7. Facilitate seamless handoffs to project management and operations teams.
8. Monitor the competitive landscape and market trends for pricing strategy.
9. Travel 30-50%.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
• 2-5+ years of relevant experience in packaging testing.
• Proven track record in technical sales, new business development, or consultative solution selling.
• Strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter with leadership and collaborative approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
