About the Role: Ramp is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive cross-cutting programs. This role focuses on developer efficiency, code quality, platform scale, incident management, and improving developer experience. Key stakeholders include the Engineering Platform team, Security Engineering, and Product Engineering teams.
What You'll Do:
- Define, plan, and execute large-scale technical programs.
- Understand system architecture and technical components.
- Partner with engineering leaders to define technical roadmaps.
- Collaborate with engineers, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate business and engineering strategies.
- Manage work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Key Focus Areas:
- Technical programs from the Engineering Platform team (e.g., CI/CD, infrastructure).
- Cross-team Product Engineering programs (incident response, performance).
- Compliance and regulatory programs.
- Enterprise customer programs.
What You Need:
- Minimum 3 years of Technical Program Management experience.
- Experience translating roadmaps into technical projects.
- Strong engineering and program management skills.
- Experience overseeing technical programs.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile).
- Ability to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders from outside the company.
- Ability to drive consensus across diverse groups.

Location: NYC or SF, with adjusted pay for other locations.
Compensation: $160,000 - $220,900 (NYC/SF), $144,000 - $198,750 (other locations).
