Job Title: Sr Advisory Solution Consultant - App Engine

Reports To: Senior Manager, AMS Solution Consulting - App Engine

Pre-Sales/Sales Engineering/Solution Consulting Role:

This role is customer-facing, driving innovative business solutions with customers. Extensive experience architecting custom solutions on the Now Platform (or similar platforms) is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive innovative business solutions and digital transformation with customers.
• Consult with customers to understand needs, highlighting Now Platform value.
• Partner with Sales and Solution Consulting to qualify needs and identify opportunities.
• Architect and develop innovative solutions with a cross-functional team.
• Develop application prototypes on the ServiceNow platform, often as lead architect.
• Demonstrate platform capabilities to customers and prospects.
• Conduct workshops (architectural and/or technical).
• Contribute to and maintain internal asset libraries.
• Provide technical and business expertise to support pre-sales engagements.
• Mentor peers on technical aspects.
• Provide solution and enablement to the technical sales force.
• Be the platform subject matter expert for executive briefings, workshops, and events.
• Document and present technical solutions aligned with client problems.
• Facilitate workshops on innovation, ideation, and solution development.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow product developments, complementary technology, and external trends.
• Work closely with Product Management on upcoming releases.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a solution consultant/architect
• 3+ years of experience architecting and delivering complex solutions on the Now Platform
• Experience facilitating client-facing workshops
• Ability to lead and work in multi-discipline teams
• Fluency in third-party integrations (web services, JDBC, file-based parsers)
• SQL and database knowledge
• Fluency in JavaScript, HTML, and libraries/frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Bootstrap)
• Strong understanding of new technologies
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills
• Experience presenting to executive audiences
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with Big Data, IoT, etc. (a plus)
