Full-Time Sr. Business Development Manager - Automotive

Commercial discipline drives business growth, manages partnerships, and provides industry subject matter expertise.
This strategic and consultative team creates meaningful client relationships.
Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a trusted advisor selling IT Professional Services.
2. Identify potential clients using various methods (lead generation, networking, etc.).
3. Guide new customers through the entire sales cycle and achieve business goals.
4. Develop and maintain a qualified lead pipeline.
5. Negotiate and close strategic deals.
6. Achieve sales targets and objectives, and exceed revenue goals.
7. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technology challenges within the Automotive industry.
8. Exceed personal financial goals by growing the book of business.
9. Participate in speaking events, workshops, and conferences.
10. Travel locally, within country, and internationally, as needed.

Experience Requirements:

• 8-10+ years of new business development experience.
• Significant Automotive industry experience.
• Strong understanding of Automotive technological trends and challenges.
• Warm network of Automotive industry contacts.
• Experience leading strategic initiatives to drive sales.
• Sales-driven approach with hunter-centric experience (prospecting, cold calling, etc.).
• Ability to identify industry pain points and persuade VP/C-level decision-makers.
• Demonstrated track record of success (achieving £5M+ quota per year).
• Experience preparing and presenting proposals.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid passport/driving license.
• Ability to occasionally lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to participate in internal and external meetings via video calls.
• Ability to work onsite, as necessary.
• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk, operating computers, etc.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
• Hand-eye coordination required.
• Vision abilities, including toleration of fluorescent lighting.
• Travel required.
