ServiceNow is seeking a motivated and ambitious attorney with 8+ years of proven technology law experience to join their dynamic legal team.
The successful candidate will be located in the US (on a flexible or remote basis), reporting to the Global Head of Privacy and Digital Technology.
This is a key role supporting ServiceNow’s Digital Technology organization (DT) on challenging global data and technology issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on global data protection and privacy issues.
- Assist in carrying out data risk assessments.
- Advise on data transfers, sharing, usage, analytics, and metrics.
- Advise on AI matters, including governance, risk assessments, and regulatory review.
- Provide product counseling and advise on IP, software, licensing.
- Advise on vendor engagements, third-party integrations, and vendor risk assessments.
- Manage projects and create/improve legal support processes for DT.
- Assist in creating/maintaining contracts, notices, policies, standards.
- Support DT's Governance, Risk, and Compliance program.
- Support training initiatives for various DT groups.
- Partner with other Legal teams.
Required Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- 8+ years of relevant technology law experience
- Experience with privacy, data protection, and technology matters
- Knowledge of key global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, US State laws)
- Experience in product counseling, IP, licensing
- Knowledge of AI legal and governance requirements
- Proficiency in commercial contracts and excellent drafting skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
