The Sr. Sales Executive is responsible for selling issuer payment processing services into medium to large financial institutions and negotiating contractual arrangements.
Specifically, you’ll be a seller for Visa DPS, one of Visa’s longest-standing value-added services. DPS offers simple payment processing capabilities alongside knowledgeable Visa partners, helping clients stay ahead in the future of payments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute sales strategies for US Financial Institutions.
- Increase revenues from existing accounts and win new accounts.
- Create new opportunities by reviewing the client landscape and implementing new approaches to growing the Visa business.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and create customized account plans.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with financial institutions.
- Learn about Visa offerings to proactively pitch compelling solutions maximizing client payment portfolios.
- Play a key role in launching new products with marketing and product development.
- Contribute to developing functional strategy and annual goals, coaching and mentoring peers.
Position Details:
- Hybrid position: Alternate between remote and office.
- Expected to work from the office 2-3 days per week, aiming for 50% or more office time.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, etc.), or 3+ years with a PhD.
- Preferred: 12+ years experience in related sales or client management.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
- Expert ability to develop and nurture new business partnerships.
- Proven strength in building trust with senior executives.
- Expertise in negotiating business agreements and financial controls.
- Exceptional skills in building internal and cross-functional relationships.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
