Strategic Account Manager, Multi-Family is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales plans. These plans include market analysis, account strategies, and measurable outcomes to drive growth and profitability.
The SAM cultivates strong relationships with key decision-makers, including corporate executives, purchasing managers, and design center leaders, to retain existing business, secure new specifications, and enhance margins.
Works collaboratively with customers to understand their business drivers, leveraging the full portfolio of products and solutions to meet their needs.
Mobilizes internal resources, facilitates cross-functional collaboration, and proactively responds to customer requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving strategic objectives.
Monitors market trends, competitive activities, and product performance, providing critical insights to inform organizational strategy and maximize sales opportunities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develops and implements sales plans including market analysis, account opportunities, short- and long-term goals, strategic initiatives, and measurable outcomes.
- Creates Individual Account Plans (retention and new business).
- Provides specification recommendations.
- Develops sales strategy for all products.
- Organizes customer intimacy events.
- Manages inventory programs.
- Makes financial decisions impacting both Outdoors and customer business.
- Executes sales and marketing promotions.
- Develops and maintains key relationships with corporate, regional, and divisional leaders, purchasing managers, design center managers, and other decision-makers.
- Understands the strategic account’s business drivers.
- Collaborates with the customer to gain strategic business insights.
- Works with all levels of customer organization to assess issues and opportunities.
- Ensures responsiveness to customer needs.
- Mobilizes and leads the organization's response to customer needs.
- Facilitates cross-functional collaboration with relevant departments.
- Monitors and communicates business trends, distribution patterns, consumer and trade attitudes, competitive practices, and product performance.
