Job Details
- Manage and grow business within northwestern Alberta.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Identify and secure sales opportunities.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage leads and account plans.
- Travel frequently throughout the territory (50% or more).
- Independently plan and manage daily and weekly activities.
- Collaborate with internal technical and engineering teams.
- Conduct equipment surveys and failure analyses.
- Represent John Crane professionally.
- Perform other duties to support customer needs.
Education: Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or Business, or equivalent industry experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of industrial or technical sales experience preferred.
- Experience in rotating equipment, pumps, seals, bearings is highly desirable.
- Previous experience managing a large geographic territory is an asset.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Balance of technical aptitude and commercial acumen.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Proven ability to plan and prioritize work.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
