Full-Time Technical Sales Representative

• Manage and grow business within northwestern Alberta.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Identify and secure sales opportunities.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage leads and account plans.
• Travel frequently throughout the territory (50% or more).
• Independently plan and manage daily and weekly activities.
• Collaborate with internal technical and engineering teams.
• Conduct equipment surveys and failure analyses.
• Represent John Crane professionally.
• Perform other duties to support customer needs.

Education: Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or Business, or equivalent industry experience.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of industrial or technical sales experience preferred.
• Experience in rotating equipment, pumps, seals, bearings is highly desirable.
• Previous experience managing a large geographic territory is an asset.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Balance of technical aptitude and commercial acumen.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Proven ability to plan and prioritize work.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
