Entry-level full-time sales position for Stratas Foods, Foodservice.
Primary Role: Direct Sales development support for foodservice operators and bakeries.
Reporting: Division Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operator Fry oil testing and product cuttings.
- National Brands and mayo, dressings, sauces specialist.
- Regional and National Account field support (as needed).
- Identifying operator targets and selling National Brands products.
- Setting up and monitoring Operator Fry tests and product samplings.
- Achieving assigned goals and objectives through direct selling support.
- Building and maintaining relationships with Distributors Street sales reps.
- Participating in sales meetings, food shows, and other business activities.
- Managing key Operator sales growth.
- Providing product solutions, market intelligence, and technical expertise.
- Handling multiple tasks (Fry test process management, salad dressings, sauces, mayo cuttings, etc.).
- Learning effective selling techniques (product knowledge, presentations, organizational skills).
- Utilizing promotional tools.
- Supporting and directing One Foodservice strategy.
- Managing opportunities in Salesforce.com.
- Completing administrative duties (expense reports, contract management, emails).
- Travel: Up to 50% within assigned territory.

Education & Experience:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary, Food Marketing or General business related field.
- 5-7 years of Foodservice experience in an outside sales role (or equivalent education and experience).
Required Skills & Experience:
- Distributor Sales
- Broker Sales
- Manufacturer sales
Equipment/Software Skills: Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications.
Physical Requirements: Ability to travel (fly/drive).
Other Requirements:
- Driver’s License
- Must be able to respond orally and in writing to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Understanding of business dynamics.
- Ability to balance cost vs. value across the branded portfolio.
