Job Details
As part of Intersect’s Legal team, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex financing and transactional work that enables our renewable energy and data center projects to scale. You’ll advise on project financing, tax equity, bond offerings, portfolio debt facilities, and capital markets transactions, while also supporting data center leasing and M&A.
What You’ll Do
- Guide Complex Transactions: Advise on the structuring and execution of financings—including secured notes, portfolio loan facilities, tax equity, and project-level debt. Support leasing and M&A work, with a focus on data center transactions and integration with renewable energy infrastructure
- Draft and Negotiate Key Agreements: Prepare, review, and negotiate definitive documentation for financings, investments, and leasing transactions. Ensure agreements align with business objectives while mitigating legal and financial risk
- Enable Cross-Functional Success: Partner with internal teams to drive due diligence, resolve issues, and keep transactions moving forward. Collaborate with external stakeholders including lenders, investors, and counterparties to deliver efficient, effective outcomes
- Protect and Advance the Business: Identify legal and financial risks and recommend strategies to address them. Provide guidance that balances sound legal judgment with Intersect’s broader business goals
What You’ll Bring
- A J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice in the U.S.
- 3+ years of experience in project finance and capital markets transactions, ideally with exposure to data center transactions
- Strong knowledge of financing structures used in renewable energy and data center development in the U.S.
